Pam Langdon invites you on a "Mad for Maud" journey so that you can create a piece of Canadian folk art history based on the works of Maud Lewis, one of Canada's most outstanding folk artists (1903-1970).  Maud's whimsical and universally appealing scenes of her life in rural Nova Scotia are alive with colour, movement and intimacy, evoking memories of our happy childhoods.  Learn about the beauty of Maud's work and highlights of her exceptional life.  Discover rug hooking techniques that capture the charm of Maud's art.

PAM LANGDON.  Pam Langdon lives in Mill Bay on Vancouver Island and is a certified Rug Hooking Teacher (Ontario Hooking Craft Guild 2006) and a Fibre Artist, Traditional Rug Hooking (St. Lawrence College, Brockville, Ontario 2015).  While her penchant and enthusiasm for teaching includes courses on design composition, colour, dyeing, weathervanes, fraktur and the illusion of 3D geometrics, Pam has a particular interest in teaching students about the life and art of Maud Lewis and how to recreate her compelling work.  Pam's informative and interactive approach creates an enjoyable atmosphere for working, learning and success (
